Couldn't agree more with the writer about Facebook.com. I started out thinking what a bother and inconvenience this site was; but, I was sooo wrong.
Through Facebook, I've reconnected with so many friends and distant family members. I made contact with some family in Minnesota that I haven't spoken to in 15 years and am thrilled to know that they're all doing well.
In addition, no less than 15 former classmates from high school discovered me on-line and have reached out to make contact with me. Friends that I haven't seen or heard from since the early 1980s! Have even made some new friends too !
Also, Its a great way to keep track of what's going on now. We've created several groups for hobbies and special interests and everyone can log on and see what's being planned and where everyone's at with it. I must also admit that I'm involved with a couple RPG applications and the occasional water gun or pillow fight !
This site was a great idea and the developers should be applauded. Figures, I never have a "ground-breaking" thought like this until its too late. Oh well...
